Cup - charcoal swoosh

This round cup was thrown on my potter’s wheel using speckled stoneware clay. 
It’s been glazed in matte white and decorated with playful charcoal swooshes. The iron speckles in thd clay can bd seen too.

These round cups are designed to be comforting. They’re perfect for coffee, tea, hot chocolate, soup or mulled wine. 
They’re sturdy and can be packed in the camper van or picnic basket. 
Or used at home to serve your visitors when you sit round the kitchen table chatting. 

Like all my work, they’re designed to be used and enjoyed, not saved for a special occasion. 
Everyday life is the special occasion!
