Mug - Shore

This large mug was thrown on my potter’s wheel using speckled stoneware clay. A handle was then pulled by hand and attached. 

It’s been glazed in matte teal and cream and there is a stripe of bare clay in between in contrast. 

There is also some bare clay which highlights the colour and texture of the clay.

It is perfect for tea, coffee or hot chocolate.
